GTC Foods originated from a friendship that bloomed 15 years ago. The two founders crossed paths while working in the restaurant industry for several years. Together, they laid the foundation for GTC Foods, uniting their experiences and passions to create something extraordinary.

Fuelled by their shared vision and driven by a desire for a career change, the two directors decided to join forces and establish GTC Foods. Leveraging one director’s reputation and extensive connections within the food industry, they recognised a gap in the market for food distribution services that focused on fostering strong client relationships. With determination and a passion for excellence, they embarked on their entrepreneurial journey, laying the groundwork for GTC Foods to thrive and make a mark in the industry. 

Their humble beginnings, armed with just one delivery van selling dry goods, proved to be the catalyst for a remarkable journey. Swiftly recognising the potential, they ventured into the frozen food market as well. Soon, the distribution of frozen poultry alongside dry goods catapulted their business into a meteoric rise, exceeding their expectations. 

In light of the surging demand, the realisation dawned upon them that additional employees and vehicles were essential to meet the needs of their growing customer base. Determined to keep up with the pace, they continued to expand the company, always fostering strong relationships with clients. Their unwavering commitment to quality and service garnered them a reputation as a recognised and preferred supplier in the industry.
